Remarkable location - staggering mountain beauty and admirable and treasure trove of BC history. Ghost Town is captivating, packed with authentic Canadian history. Doesn’t suffer from over-curation. What our Canadian forebears accomplished, endured and built in this country is made plain in this private collection. Train enthusiasts will be rewarded with the Round House contains car after car of rail history. Important historic buildings fill the grounds. Hotel room very clean, beds comfortable and ambiance beyond imagination. Yes it’s older - but that’s the beauty of it. Be sure to book a garden room - patios face the gardens. Stunning. Plan to spend at least one full day or more - so much to see and do. There are few places like this - truly amazing.

The hotel is a heaven - we stayed for a night, paddled in the lake in the morning and toured around the Ghost Town! Very comfortable beds and a lovely family run facility! Will absolutely be back 😍😍😍

My partner and I came here for three days, two nights, last weekend to celebrate his birthday. We had a great time. The property is huge, we had so much fun exploring the building, and learning about it's history. The ghost town next door was really cool, and admission was dirt cheap (half off for staying in the hotel). All of the staff we spoke to were really great people, it was super nice getting the chance to chat and have pleasant little conversations here and there. There's no AC in the rooms, but there's a fan in the closet, and honestly, cracking open the door to the balcony and just letting in a nice cool breeze from the lake was all we needed. The common areas/rec areas/lounges are really nice. There's a pool table near the lobby, with a cool little library alcove above it, perfect for sitting and reading, playing some card games, or just sitting down and chatting in the evening. There's also ping pong tables, a little piano, an arcade game (I'm not sure of it's functional or not though, I never had the chance to check it out), and a little pool and hot tub, amongst other things. The lake is gorgeous, and they provide kayaks for a small fee. On top of that, it's a very short drive to Revelstoke, Sicamous, and the Last Spike historical site. We already booked our trip for next year the day before we checked out! We can't wait to come back, it was a great time and so relaxing, absolutely worth the drive we made to get out there from Calgary.

Room was clean but outdated. The restaurant had a very limited menu and even though there were empty tables we were told to come back at 6 for staff to catch-up. Just a hotel for a stopover on your trip
