We booked the room on Agoda and were very suprised at the size of the of the room (suite) and all it had to offer - massive bathroom, hot tub, robes and lush towels. One minor negative were the feather pillows were very flat and offered very little support (even with doubling them up). We would definitely recommend this place.

I stayed in one of the buildings adjacent to the main inn where the restaurant was located. The room was fairly large and had a balcony with a view of the back field - the room was ok. The only real issue I had was the low water pressure in the shower. The location was good but you will need to drive to get to places off the grounds (naybe 10 minutes to downtown Picton). Breakfast was included - it was standard but it was a slow sitdown service which should be kept in mind if you're in a rush to get your day started. The main waitress didn't realize it but could be a bit judgey with her comments (some might take offence). They do add an extra tourism tax when you check-in that is outside what was paid already through Agoda - it's a small fee. Overall, I'd rate it about 7.5 out of 10 which seems to be their average rating online.

We were given a very tiny room in the "House next door" that was reached up a narrow set of stairs. It was very nicely decorated but over furnished. The room came with breakfast which was better Sunday than the previous day. People in our party had very different accommodation in the hotel that seemed more traditional than ours. If you don't want bijoux than be sure to ask ahead.
