    Friendly staff and well kept historic building. Can hear trains if room faces front / railway line but only during day - didn’t hear any overnight. Great breakfast, nice bar.

    Stayed en route on a trip down to London. Really helpful staff. Great breakfast. Bed uber comfy and the room could not have been cleaner. We were at the front of the hotel, it was a little noisy as it is by the train track - this was not too much of an issue for us, but probably best stay in a back room if you are a light sleeper. Black out blinds would have been really helpful as the room was very light in the morning.

    Very nice and quite but lovely walk along the river bank. There is a train line very close but you can hardly hear anything.
