When you first drive up to The View Motel in Cottonwood, AZ, the exterior can be a bit deceiving—it definitely leaves you wondering if you made a mistake booking it.
However, once you step inside, it is a completely different story and ended up being a good value for the money.Our room was very large, clean, and comfortable. It featured two double beds and a good-sized bathroom. A huge plus was the small kitchen area, which came stocked with all the basic essentials needed to cook a meal right there in the room.
There were just two minor downsides to our stay:
The Location & Lighting: We were located in the far back side down a hill, and the room itself was a bit dark.
The Parking: The parking situation down there was tough, featuring very tight spaces and not a lot of room to back up.
Overall, do not let the outside fool you! It is a clean, spacious, budget-friendly, and convenient place to stay.

The property offers exceptional value with spotless cleanliness and very friendly and professional staff. The location is perfectly situated with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The facilities are well maintained and equipped, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The View lives up to it's name!

Great for a clean place to sleep and shower for a cost effective alternative to Sedona. Old town Cottonwood is worth checking out.
