    I needed a place to sleep, shower, and launder my clothes before returning to Emory to stay with an ailing parent in ICU. This is less than 5 minutes from the hospital so I was still close by if I needed to return quickly. Washer and dryer on site for about $3 per load in quarters and hotel provided me with travel size detergent and dryer sheets. Room was clean, felt safe, and although the accommodations are a little dated, the pride in ownership shows. The gentleman working the front desk was so courteous and helpful. I will be staying here again while my family is still in the hospital.

    First, the motel charges you for parking in a surface lot with tons of parking, if you book through a 3rd party site. This wasn’t clear at all. The hotel then completely screwed up not understanding the room was prepaid and having to reverse charges after a ton of effort. This is a very mediocre hotel and you should just say in Decatur or another relatively close place if you are there for Emory
