I had a disappointing experience with the check-in process. The property requires online check-in via a link, but since Agoda doesn’t support links, this caused unnecessary complications and delays.
The advertised check-in time was 2pm, but upon arrival, I was told it was actually 3pm. Similarly, checkout was listed as 11am, yet I was informed it was at 10am. When I pointed out that these inconsistencies were misleading, the staff simply told me to contact Agoda, as they claimed to have no contract with them.
As the property does not offer 24-hour reception, I believe it’s essential to provide clear check-out instructions in advance, particularly for guests needing to depart at unusual hours, such as after midnight.
The location may also be less suitable for travellers without a car, as the local bus service is quite unreliable.
Although the room itself was clean and comfortable, the check-in experience, often the first impression of a stay was frustrating and poorly managed. I hope these issues are addressed to improve the experience for future guests.
