    Perfect for business trips. Tranquil surroundings, beautiful views. Just the place to unwind after the pressures of the board room. My stay this time was for an unexpected family crisis so booked small double at very short notice. Room, yes was compact but perfect for a single night for myself. Lovely area for families as right on the beach but may be a bit pricey for some with older children as the Cooden is tucked away at the far end of Bexhill well away from other attractions. Staff were all very professional and attentive. Food, I only had breakfast, was lovely. All in all, if you want a beautiful setting on the beach with no distractions then this is the place.

    Great location with amazingly quiet, picturesque beach in front of the hotel. Nice room, great having 2 rooms so we could be in separate room to our kids. Good buffet breakfast and value for money overall. There's not much nearby other than the beach if you don't have a car but otherwise Bexhill (inc De La Warr pavilion) 5 mins down the road which was a nice day trip. Didn't use the spa but looked nice. Would highly recommend for a sunny family trip to a hidden gem of the Sussex coast.

    I have been many times to this hotel and am usually happy. This time, despite making a dinner reservation on Saturday night, they did not have an available table and we were offered a table in the empty bar area. I booked 2 rooms one with a dog and one without. We were put into the dog area which I did not want. I get the feeling that if you book through a hotel website as opposed to booking directly with the hotel you are treated differently.
