    We booked an Ocean View Villa at Ocean Resort & Spa in Da Nang for our family summer vacation. Prior to our arrival, we were informed that the villa we booked was damaged by Typhoon Wipha and were offered a Garden Villa with a partial refund, since it was priced lower. We arrived late in the evening, so we just checked in and rested. The next morning, while walking around, we discovered that the Ocean View Villas were intact and not damaged at all. A staff member from a nearby hotel even confirmed that Da Nang was not hit by the typhoon, only heavy rain. Unfortunately, we did not take any photos of the villas as they were in used. This made us feel deceived, as there was no valid reason given for downgrading our booking. To add to this disappointment, our stay included daily breakfast, yet the execution left much to be desired. On one morning, the chef was so loudly chatting with his staff while preparing food at 7:00am that it disturbed our family who were still resting. A star property should value guest comfort and professionalism, especially during early hours. This was our bad experience with this property, and unfortunately, it will also be our last. We will not be returning, and I hope the management reflects seriously on honesty, guest treatment, and service standards.

    Probably its the peak season in Da Nang and we didnt get the best unit of all but overall experience was not that pleasant for a 4/5 star villa. We were welcomed with spoilt bicycles and faulty hair dryer. The hair dryer even had sparks coming out. One of the showers wasnt working well (clogged drain). We complained multiple times and the staff didnt really work on it. Aircond in the main room was so warm and multiple complaints had to be made to work on it. Washroom sinks werent cleaned daily. Still saw the same stain from day 2. Sofa and most of the furniture were dirty and old.
