The Moment Hotel

I stayed here while attending an event at the Pazhou Convention Center, and I couldn't have picked a better spot. The convention center is just a short trip away, which made my days so much easier. No long commutes, no stress about getting there on time. What I loved most is the location beyond the convention center. The hotel sits in a residential neighborhood right in the city center, so it's very convenient to reach the Canton Tower and Guangzhou's major tourist sites. At the same time, stepping out the door gave me a genuine taste of local life: neighborhood shops, street food, and everyday Guangzhou that you'd never see from a big chain hotel in a business district. It felt like the best of both worlds. The hotel itself was a pleasant surprise. It's remarkably stylish, with a minimalist, almost museum-like design: clean lines, thoughtful lighting, and a calm, curated atmosphere throughout. It feels far more upscale and design-forward than you'd expect, and it's a lovely space to come back to after a busy day. It's also spotless. My room was extremely clean and well kept throughout my stay, which I really appreciated after long days out. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of Cantonese dishes. If you're not used to a Cantonese-style breakfast, don't worry: right next to the lobby there's an authentic, trendy bakery serving Western-style breads and pastries. The quality is excellent, on par with what you'd find at a good New York bakery. I ended up grabbing something from there more than once! The staff deserve special mention. They are super friendly and welcoming. While not many of them speak much English, they always did their best to help, using a translator app to communicate and making sure I had everything I needed. Their patience and effort made me feel truly looked after, and the language barrier never became a problem. Overall, my experience was outstanding. Whether you're in town for business at Pazhou or exploring the city, this hotel is a fantastic choice. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Guangzhou!

The front desk staff are helpful and prompt to requirement. The hotel provide coffee and soya milk for guests at all times.

The property impressed with its spotless cleanliness. The location however is a little densed but it’s easy to explore nearby attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, though there's room for improvement in service. Facilities were somewhat limited, but overall the value for money felt fair given the quality and convenience offered.

Loved the daily breakfast. Filling and well-curated. The staff are also approachable. Housekeeping is very helpful, even if we don’t understand each other at times. You just tell them the request, they will oblige.
