Location is central and close to a metro stop and the National Gallery. It is situated in an upscale district, across a small park with restaurants and designer stores in the vicinity.
My room was quite large and initially on the 2nd floor and the next day upon my request I was moved to a higher floor to enjoy a nice view of the city, which I appreciated.
Staff are kind and helpful.
Breakfast is simply excellent, with both a buffet and a à la carte menu. The buffet items very daily and everything is fresh and delicious. They have their own special blend of herbal infusion and coffee made specifically for the hotel.
The entire hotel is very clean and the housekeeping staff are quick, efficient and eager to help.
The Modernist in Athens (and sister property in Thessaloniki) are smartly branded with a series of unique to the hotel products (tea, coffee, bathroom amenities, jet lag kit etc) and logo wearables that one can purchase directly to take home.
Thanks for a very pleasant stay. I travel to Athens often and plan to return here for my stay.

Lovely hotel. Well managed with very available reception team. We though the bed were super comfy and the little balcony super nice. The breakfast was very good too.
