Excellent stay at Mark Spencer Hotel. The whole of downtown is walkable from here. Clean, comfortable and secure. Doesn't have many of the additional facilities of other high end hotels but that's not what I'm looking for. Fridge and microwave in room, small gym and laundry in the basement, though no coffee making facility. I'll be back here again no problem. Friendly and helpful staff.

We had to extend our stay in Portland and were happy to come across this hotel. The front desk staff was gracious enough and found us an available room to check-in early. We loved that the room was bright and sunny and very spacious but what we love more is the kitchenette. Apar from the curtains there was a blackkut blinds that allows you to rest more. Would recommend this hotel. It’s close to Powell’s too.
