    Very clean, rooms were new and spacious. The shower pressure was exceptional. The pool was still under construction but the hotel has such a relaxing feel that it really didnt matter. It feels more like a spa than a hotel: I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

    We stayed at the Leea either end of a trip to Kakadu. We were disapppointed to find that the swimming pools pictured on the website are currently being rennovated. There was no mention of this at the time of booking. Not only does this mean that there are no swimming facilities, but the construction work is very disruptive and noisy. On our second stay we were put in a room that requires a 5+ minute walk from reception around the perimeter of the property instead of being a quick walk past the pools. This is inconveniently far from reception, the restaurant, the gym and laundry facilities. Worse - we've been put in an accessible room. In principle, this is fine - although we don't have any special needs. However the room, particularly the bathroom, is very poorly designed. The bathroom has insufficient shelves and hooks to accomodate our things. We ended up putting things on the floor, only to realise that the shower set- up (essentially a wet room, rather than a separate cubicle) sprayed water all over the floor. Not at all satisfactory! I would advise any wheel-chair user NOT to stay here. There must be better facilities elsewhere. On the plus side, the staff were all really lovely and helpful, and we really appreciated the guest laundry facilities. We ate in the restaurant one evening - the barramundi was delicious!

    We had a pleasant stay overall, with a few highlights as well as some areas that could be improved. Check-in was seamless and efficient, making for a great start to our stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with two excellent queen beds. The air conditioning worked very well and could be adjusted for both cooling and heating, which was appreciated. One thing to note is that rooms are not serviced daily. While this wasn't a major issue, obtaining fresh towels could sometimes be a challenge. On one occasion, we waited around an hour for replacements. We also noticed that rubbish was often left outside guest room doors, as there were no convenient rubbish bins available for guests to use. Our biggest disappointment was discovering that the pool and entire outdoor area were closed for maintenance. Unfortunately, there was no mention of this on the hotel's website or any of the booking platforms we used. We specifically chose this hotel largely because of its pool and outdoor facilities, so arriving to find the area completely fenced off was very disappointing. When we enquired, we were advised that the maintenance commenced in November 2025, yet there was still no communication advising guests of the closure as of July 2026. Based on the progress of the works, it appeared that completion was still some time away. While the hotel did provide vouchers for the nearby Wave Pool, which is about a 10-minute walk away, it was not the same as having direct access to a relaxing poolside environment within the hotel. With the outdoor area closed and construction underway, much of the resort atmosphere was lost. We would also not recommend the breakfast. Unfortunately, we found it well below average and disappointing for the price charged. Overall, this is a nice hotel with comfortable rooms and a smooth check-in experience. However, greater transparency regarding major facility closures would have allowed guests to make an informed decision before booking. Once the pool and outdoor area are completed and a few service improvements are made, this property has the potential to offer a much better guest experience.

    All photos show a pool but this has been closed for almost a year. They only told us a week before our trip, not leaving enough time to book alternative accommodation.
