    Pleasant stay. Grand feeling upon entry. Very clean all throughout and very well maintained. Courteous staff all around - restaurant, room service , reception. Adequate space for young children. Enjoyed the evening cultural programme and the morning flute performance. Food quality is very average and falls way short of the grandeur of the place. Pricey as well in context of the items served. For fitness enthusiasts, the palace gym is the tiniest one could ever imagine with hardly any equipment.

    While overall the property was nice and staff were courteous, our Historical Suite was nowhere near the pictures shown on Agoda site. We got a basic room with a very noisy bed which creaked everytime there was any movement. Couldn't sleep all night because it felt like the bed is about to collapse. Because of the room we booked and paid for had no resemblance with the room they gave, we are extremely disappointed and feel cheated.

    We booked 5 rooms, one of the room was so dirty and shower tray was not fitted properly, Noisy fridge, power was keep going out. Had to call reception to reinstate. There was wedding reception on Sunday night and couldn’t sleep because of the noisy atmosphere in the hotel..So I would not rate this hotel 4star
