    So we were otw back from Koh Samui with our bikes, we booked a night at this hotel, one of our pit stops otw back to Malaysia. When we arrived there it was pretty late, was past 8pm. So when went to check in, the staff had to call the hotel owner who happened to be nearby. Thankfully we didn't have to wait too long. However when he came and tried to check us in, he said we didn't make any booking. We of course insisted and said we did and showed him our booking receipts and payment receipts via agoda. The owner insisted that we didn't pay and asked us to pay upon check in. At that moment I thought oh god did we get scammed here. I continued to argue back and told him to find my name in the email, because I had received the confirmation email from his hotel. He then asked me to go behind the counter and help to look like from his email. Thankfully I found it straight away by searching my name. We managed to check in after that without any problems. Overall the room we got was pretty nice and decent. I would recommend it but do make sure to maybe call the hotel prior your departure to make sure your booking got through. We were lucky that the hotel had some availability. If they were having a full house, we would have no choice but to find another place at that hour.
