Upon arrival we were met by the cleaning lady saying she still had to clean pur room. Ordinarily fine but it was 18.30hrs. I took one look around and suggested it didn’t need cleaning out, it needed burning out. A horrendous little hovel who’s online pictures bare zero resemblance to the actual reality of the situation. I would have walked immediately but L’d had a horrendous day and just needed rest. I showered, dressed and slept on top of my crispy linen. I will be booking for a lovely long weekend stay for my ex-wife

I found the hotel very reasonable with the discount codes at £42 for the night but on arrival for I was at an abandoned property. There was a ride on Lawnmower with flat tires in the middle of the car park along with a huge static caravan, there was other items pulled out and thrown all over the drive. The grass was overgrown by about 3 foot. Reception was very small. I thought I was at some sort of deserted property after adjusting the room and making a request prior to arrival explaining that my wife was severely disabled and could not navigate stairs the room was changed to ground floor the room siding onto where we stayed. We’re all heavily padlock and windows were blacked out. We were quite worried about our belongings and car there seem to be a number of residence that live there permanently and looked a bit suspicious so I removed my items from the room once we were ready for the evening drove to my family destination left the car there I was too worried to bring the car back with my belongings in case something happened whilst we were asleep I didn’t sleep very well. There was lots of noise and activity going on between the buildings. There was one resident with a very loud television with the window open fully we left very early. There was no one at reception. Everything was closed up almost like a ghost town having said that we come away on harmed and the room was clean and tidy. Bed was very uncomfortable. I suggest if you’re staying there to take a fan as the rooms are stiffening hot and in the summer whether we’re having at the moment it would be impossible to sleep. Without one. I would never stay there again and if you do make a booking, make sure you go prepared.
