    Had a very pleasant stay at The Home Residency. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice and peaceful stay. Would definitely recommend it.

    I recently stayed at The Home Residency, Gudalur for 6 days. Overall, it was a positive experience with a few points that future guests should be aware of. The Highlights: Prime Location: The hotel is situated right in the core business area, making it convenient to trip for Kerala and Karnataka as well. Great Facilities & Staff: There is adequate parking available on the premises. The staff is supportive and accommodating, and having 24/7 hot water was a plus for my stay. Areas for Improvement: Room Discrepancies: I booked a Deluxe room specifically expecting 2 separate beds and a balcony. However, the room provided had 1 large main bed and a separate smaller bed (which seemed intended for a child). Dining Policies: It was quite surprising to find out that complimentary breakfast is not included, especially considering they run a fully operational restaurant on the same campus. Housekeeping: Daily room cleaning is not standard practice here. According to their policy, housekeeping is only done if you explicitly request it, which is good to know in advance. Pest: I saw some cockroaches and bedbugs. While I understand that as humans we are building in the middle of nature's forest area, I think it's too greedy to expect a bug-free room.
