I had a really pleasant stay at The Hide Hostel at Canggu - Adults Only. The location is perfect, close to everything in Canggu, and the atmosphere is very social which makes it easy to meet new people as a solo traveler. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist when needed. The common areas are nice and relaxing, especially the pool area. Overall, it’s a great place if you’re looking for a fun and friendly environment in Canggu.

it leaves much to be desired. The pictures advertised are outdated as the space is aged. There are wooden steps and boards to walk across that are almost broken so not the safest place. Although it says breakfast and dinner are included the only breakfast I saw for the 14 days I was there was bread and some type jelly. Breakfast or dinner won’t fill you up but it’s a nice gesture. I grocery shopped and made my own breakfast. The only dinner I saw was probably some rice dish and for the most part you might not get the dinner if you’re the last one down. I cooked or ordered in food. Keep in mind you’re living in the hostel using shared spaces and many grown adults do not clean up after themselves so if you prefer somewhere clean and where guest respect the space they’re living in you may not get that. Also water is included in the kitchen however because of the amount of people in the hostel they probably only refill the water jug once a day or every 12 hours or so. Be mindful of that and/or probably just purchase your own water. If you are on a very tight budget and in your early twenties then this is more your speed.
