    air conditioning was out. 98 degrees in the room and could only offer fans that could only be plugged into power strips feet away from the window.

    I booked 2 rooms, because it was a great location and good reviews. Realized quickly after that it was for the wrong date. (I booked in the car on the way to a high school football game). I tried to change the dates immediately but it said it wasn’t allowed. So I requested a refund and rebooked 2 different rooms for the correct date. At check-in, I explained to the front desk what happened, they were very understanding and cancelled the reservation for FREE because it was before the 48 hours and said I might need to submit a refund through the 3rd party company as well. I submitted a refund through the 3rd party company, they responded with the Hotel declined my refund because I agreed to the terms and conditions. I called the hotel itself to speak with a manager. Left a message at 8:50am. No call back all day. Called again at 6:03pm, left another message. Still no call back. Mind you this hotel has/had no air conditioning. I still booked because the reviews and location were great, I ended up paying for 2 rooms for dates I wasn’t even there for, even though I was told that it was FREE cancellation at check in because it was within the 48 hours. The staff was very nice though, but trying to get in touch with a manager seems impossible and very unprofessional. Make sure when you book, it’s for the correct dates because you cannot change the dates nor get a refund!
