We stayed at the Dutch bungalow, Galle for 1 day. We drove straight from the airport in Colombo to this property. The staff were warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and spacious. The location is walking distance from the Galle fort and all the nearby tourist attractions in Galle which was the biggest plus point for us. Good stay option if you are looking to explore Galle town

From check-in to the checkout, the staff were on point, making sure all is checked. It’s a well restored building, and I liked how the hot water works well, the lights light up the room thoroughly and the bathroom & room were clean and minimalist. From the balcony I could see a row of araliya trees which gave it a wonderful atmosphere. The breakfast was simple yet tasty. I’d stay there again.

Our room was infested with cockroaches and bugs. Had to check out after the first night even though booking was for 2 nights. But the staff were very understanding and helpful.
