Hotel management called me n told that I booked this property at very high price through Agoda (***) So they upgraded me to their another property named *** free of cost. This property was like heaven with all extraordinary facilities like warm water swimming pool, bone fire, excellent buffet arrangements, very polite staff, n just 2 minutes walk to heart of nubra market with live singing n number of shops.

It was fun to be here in dunes hotel from the time of check in till check out every thing was perfect. Best of the hotel staff ever seen in hotels. Good tasty food clean rooms highly recommend this property for any one planning to visit

Properties this large and well-maintained are rare to find in Nubra! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well kept. The views were absolutely fantastic, and the overall vibe of the property was cozy and inviting. The staff was polite, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. The location is excellent - just 5 minutes away from both the sand dunes and the popular Artisan Bazaar. However, the biggest disappointment for us was the lack of air conditioning. Since peak tourist season coincides with very hot summer days, this is a major drawback. The room had a ceiling fan, and the staff was kind enough to provide two pedestal fans, even bringing us an additional one when requested. Unfortunately, the fans mostly circulated hot air and didn’t help much. The property could consider installing low-voltage coolers or providing mosquito nets so guests can leave the balcony doors open at night to let in the cool breeze - currently, insects make that difficult. Our room lock was also not functioning properly, which became a bit annoying every time we stepped out. While the staff did respond and eventually fixed it, routine checks beforehand would improve the experience. A sweet gesture was the complimentary dinner offered on our second and final night - very thoughtful and appreciated. The breakfast spread was good with local dishes as well. They also host cultural dance performances, which we unfortunately missed, but it’s nice to know such activities are planned in a remote area with limited entertainment options. Overall, a great property with stunning views and excellent location - just needs a few adjustments to improve summer comfort.
