    - They take picture of driver's license ID without asking for permission; - The hotel room smelled very strong laundry or cleaning detergent and it did not go away even after opening all windows and turn on the fan for hours; Cannot be healthy - regret not leaving and moving to a different hotel due to concern of hassle. - Room next to ice-maker machine and cooking pantry (lots of loud noise even late at night because cooking staff access those). -There is no designated hotel parking - only valet.

    Recently redone. Clean rooms in a great part of La Jolla. They have a 24hr full convenience store in the lobby. Would stay here again.

    From normal conversations to laughing and arguing to yelling, we heard it all. You can hear absolutely everything coming through every wall. The worst was the noise coming from outside all through night. The partygoers walking by, it’s like they were in the room with us and then the seagulls screeching in the early morning. We travel a lot and have experienced noise in hotels before but this place is the worst by a large margin! The guy and girl at the front counter didn’t give the slightest crap about the problem and acted as if our complaint was too much of a bother for them. We do not recommend this place and will never stay here again.

    Megan at the front desk was attentive, kind, offered fantastic tips and was a dream to have greet you at the lobby.
