    Pictures definitely look better than reality. Hotel room looked clean but had a sex toy kit in the nightstand left by the previous guest. So I’m not sure how much cleaning house keeping is getting done. I informed the staff when checking out and they did nothing to rectify it. Food was not good: ordered wings and Mac and cheese and the Mac and cheese basically tasted and looked like buttered noodles with a sprinkle of pepper. Wings were kinda soggy. Let’s not even talk about the view from the window. Definitely don’t recommend. Staying here.

    The property offered excellent transport options, reliable Wi-Fi, and a delightful breakfast. The amenities were top-notch, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great value for money.

    The Commonwealth hotel directly across from the state capitol in the capital city of Richmond Virginia is spectacular I stay there quite often on business and on just getaways and I was just there last night when I walked in they greeted me as they always do very friendly and very professional but casual it's not it is four star fabulous hotel it's well appointed at you know has all it's very very very very lovely but it's still very comfortable and you do not it's not stuffy it's not I'm uptight it's very casual atmosphere but very high class high end they upgraded my room without me requesting an upgrade she was sweet when I you know got a room that I can afford they upgraded it with with no you know as it just a nice gesture they really are quite a lovely staff Christina the manager Jessica behind the desk in the valley they were just terrific can't say enough good things about them

    Parking took forever (bad sign)The shower door didn’t close all the way. The restaurant we ordered a Blt and a burger the BLT was delicious but the burger wasn’t completely done as ordered well done had to throw it away.
