The restaurant is excellent, fusion and contemporary updated classics that are great for gourmands and visitors from out of the region. However the range is a little limited especially for individual travellers during dinner where set meals are not available. Locationwise, yes it's 10 minutes from KL Sentral but the lobby is miserable with only a single lane that my driver missed the first time round and then got frustrated when he got stuck behind another car. While the hotel is eco-friendly, it means that there is no power and no Aircon when you leave the room. This means no ventilation, resulting in everything remaining damp when you return. Good luck if you have anything in the fridge! While I appreciate the counter, the chair isn't comfortable and the foot of the bedframe being higher than the mattress makes jumping onto the bed a little painful. Wish there was a little cabinet to place my luggage upon as well. Staff are excellent and greet you with a smile, whether at the door or at the counter. Shout-out especially to the bar staff and waiters who work seamlessly with one another like clockwork. However I would rather go to the Hilton Garden Inn nearby and walk over for a meal because there are plenty of meal options nearby and this is far from any bus stop or MRT stop. A negative about this place is the lack of soundproofing. Every morning I wake up to the doorslams of people leaving. If not, then to the vacuuming of housekeeping. Not to mention there is only one lift for all 6 floors... Nice for the aesthetic but really it's too dim to want to stay long. Maybe one or two nights then move on to somewhere else.

The hotel is in a great location and has a beautiful building with a pleasant ambience. However, several maintenance and service issues affected our overall experience. Firstly, the parking is not complimentary and costs RM15 per day. I understand that the hotel is located in the city centre, so the parking fee itself was acceptable. However, when we arrived, the ticket machine did not work. I pressed the button several times but received no ticket. I then tried using my Touch ’n Go card, but the reader repeatedly failed, even though the card had worked perfectly at the toll shortly before. I also pressed the assistance button, but no one responded. To make matters worse, it was raining, and there was no covered walkway from the car park to the hotel lobby. The parking area was also surfaced with loose stones. I had to run through the rain to the lobby and ask the security team to open the barrier before I could proceed with check-in. During check-in, we were given only one room key card instead of the usual two. When I asked for another card, the front desk informed me that there were not enough key cards available. Although inconvenient, I proceeded to our room as it is rain and we are tired after a long travel. We switched on the air conditioning, but after more than 10 minutes, the room became increasingly warm. Even after setting it to the lowest temperature and maximum fan speed, almost no air was coming out. I had to return to the front desk, and they offered to change our room. After receiving the key card for the replacement room, I went upstairs to inspect it. The air conditioning was working properly, but when I wanted to return to the first floor, I could not use the lift because my card did not provide access. I had no choice but to use the staircase, which was extremely dark. The steps were barely visible, making it dangerous for anyone using the staircase. The following morning, I approached the front desk again to request a second key card. The staff member responded, “You don’t have two cards?” and looked at me as though I were requesting a third card. This made me feel uncomfortable, especially since we had only been given one card during check-in. I eventually received the second card and had my parking validated. Unfortunately, when I returned that evening, the car park entrance failed again, which was extremely frustrating. Based on this experience, I would think twice before returning.
