    We stayed at this hotel from August 19 to August 21. Before our arrival, I called to confirm if they could receive a package for us, and we were told “yes.” I placed the order, and the courier tracking shows it was delivered two days before check-in. When we arrived, the staff couldn’t locate the package and said they would check the next day. After two days, there was still no update. On the third day, a staff member named Jo said she checked CCTV and no courier had entered the property at the delivery time. We asked her to confirm this by email so we could deal with the courier company, but we never received a response. By comparison, another hotel we stayed at during the trip immediately confirmed package delivery by email and stored it safely for us. In addition, the rooms are dated, one toilet was blocked during our stay, and the fish pond in the yard attracted mosquitoes into the room. Overall, the customer service and hotel management were very disappointing.

    Stayed in triple room so plenty of space. Ample towels. Breakfast was excellent. Only real problem was the fan in the bathroom had seen better days judging by the sounds it was making. In addition wall to adjacent room could do with better sound insulation.

    Had a very warm welcome. The room was warm and cosy and I had a great night's sleep. I had dinner upon arrival. A table was set for me with a little candle which was a nice touch. The food was delicious and served hot. I felt very well catered for. I would stay again and will when returning to the area in 6wks time. The price was brilliant for a nights stay and only 12 mins from where I needed to be in Swindon.
