This hostel is pretty interesting in the sense that it's more of a capsule hotel. Each person has a small capsule that's enclosed on all sides except for a small curtain entrance that faces the hall. I think there were about 10 in my room.
The challenge is that keeping the curtain closed keeps the light out, but the air also doesn't circulate well, causing the capsule to become a little hot. Keeping it open has good circulation but poor light filtration. Whenever someone gets up, the motion-sensor-based lights will cause issues.
I think the hostel could improve by just providing everyone with an eye mask, making it not necessary to close your curtains, and then you'd have good airflow. But otherwise, if staying here, I would definitely bring an eye mask and earplugs.

The hostel is great location just outside the old town, with easy access to and from the airport on A1 bus.
Great pool (though shuts at 5pm), rooms lovely with comfortable bed and shower facilities.
Negative! They charge to leave your bag in storage before and after your stay. Towels an additional charge! No toiletries either!

I would recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Mallorca. The big draw card is the rooftop pool. You feel like you are in a 5 star hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hostel is more like a flashpackers then a normal hostel. The social and common area does lack a bit. I'm sure in high season there are plenty of hostel activities.
The hostel is really clean and comfortable.
One downside when I stayed there was someone tried to break into my locker. They weren't able to access any of my stuff luckily. The area seems a little sketchy. With a lot of new migrants living in the area.
Besides that the hostel is a one of the best ive stayed in europe.
