    My experience at the Blue Sky Resort at Ranong (the one on the shore, not at the island) was great. We were a family of 7, booking 3 seaview villas. The most noticeable thing about this accommodation is that it's very quiet, with very limited number of room keys. You will love this place if you want a serene escape. At the same time, it's not that convenient accessing from the main road. It's they kind of hotel that once you come in, you don't go out often unless you are a skilled driver with a rugged vehicle. With that said, I took a flight from Bangkok and asked the hotel to pick me up. There's a 300THB charge but it's worth the price since it takes a while from the airport. The rooms were all very nice with spacious areas. You can see Myanmar from balcony. Some of my family members didn't like that it always rains, and the noises from the storm could be a bit scary, but that is to be expected if you plan a trip to Ranong. I do feel that the hotel has reasonable measures and facilities in place to handle the storms. Services are impeccable. The staff are all extremely helping. Perhaps there aren't too many guests since it's a very quiet and private resort. They kept expressing how they could assist us, and even showed up to send us off until we completely left the venue. Overall, a great stay if you plan for a seaview getaway from the city. If you like that kind of vacation where you sit all day to stare at the ocean, read, write, paint, and nap listening to the rain, this place is a 10/10.

    The hotel room itself was very nice but everything else’s feel like it having been maintained. Bad water damage ceiling in the lobby was not a good impression and all of wooden decks are needed to be fixed. Shame that the hotel not maintained common area but we give 5/5 for the friendly staff though.

    Sadly the hotel is down a really terrible dirt road almost requiring a four wheel drive .The roʻm had a good view of Myanmar and was acceptable but hot water was not hot.Food was ok although the European menu was available only pizza .Staff were very freindly and helpful .Breakfast was very limited.Overall not the best experience and a long way from anything else.
