    The room was clean and exactly as pictured. It was a bit of a disappointment that it didn't have a window, as we had expected a deluxe room to have one, but the view from the balcony was just as stunning. The location is quite convenient, with a nearby market, many local cafes, and fruit shops. It takes approximately 20 minutes to walk to Kata Beach, and a bit longer to reach Kata Noi Beach, but we found it to be more enjoyable. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere and lovely staff. We arrived late, so they left us a few notes with the code for the front door and the key to our room. The accommodation was very cozy. It's an excellent place for the price.

    Where to start. The bed was hard as a wooden plank, the bathroom smelled horribly of humidity (no cleaning was able to remove the smell), and the hotel is beside a highway and has no soundproofing whatsover. It means you will hear motorbikes roaring at all times of day and night as though you had all windows open. The water from the bathroom leaked on the balcony so the smell was there too. We barely slept at all the 3 days we were there (with earplugs, air conditionning and music, we would still only hear the highway above it all). The staff was nice but they were not always nearby and often you would wait for them a long time near the reception with no one around... We had a private room there, maybe the dorms were better or rooms that were at the back of the building? Unfortunately for us, we did not have any of those options.
