    I visited Bangalore last week and stayed at Suraksha Stay Brookfield Hotel from the night of 25th August to the morning of 28th August with my family and my 2-year-old baby. Before booking, I checked the reviews and most of them were positive. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because the booking platform mentioned that car parking was available. Unfortunately, after reaching the hotel, the first issue I faced was the lack of proper parking. There was no dedicated parking facility, and I was told to park on the roadside. There was no security or assurance regarding the safety of the vehicle or any possible damage. I asked the reception staff about the parking, and he said that the hotel did not have parking. When I asked why the booking platforms mentioned that parking was available, he couldn't give me a proper answer. After around 5 minutes of discussion, he said he would try to arrange parking at another hotel about 1 km away. Since I was travelling with my family and a 2-year-old baby, this was not a practical option. We cannot keep travelling 1 km every time we need to use the car. Regarding the room, I have to say that I was satisfied. The room itself was good and I had no major complaints about it. However, the service and knowledge of the reception staff were very disappointing. I asked whether the TV had an option to use YouTube, but the reception staff said he didn't know anything about the TV. I then asked about the AC remote, and again he said he didn't know how it worked. He simply told me to check the drawers and even under/inside the bed. In my experience, the reception staff should be able to answer basic questions about the facilities and help customers with their queries. Unfortunately, the staff seemed unaware of the hotel's own facilities and were not very helpful, and their attitude also made the situation more frustrating. Overall, the room was good, but the experience was affected by the misleading parking information, lack of proper parking, and poor customer service. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that the facilities mentioned on booking platforms are actually available and that reception staff are properly trained to assist guests.
