The deposit was not mentioned beforehand and was double normal price for the area and quality ($100)
Cockroaches and zero f***s given. They are also very far away from anything else and ZERO sidewalks are along the highway they are off of

As i drove into the parking lot I expected a typical seedy motel run by underpaid staff and uncaring managers. My expectations were wrong!
The parking lot was well kept, no litter. The sparse landscaping was well cared for.
A friendly new hire was staffing the front desk. I asked for a room overlooking the parking lot since I had unsecured kayaks on the roof of my car. Apparently, this request usually requires an extra fee. I declined.
The manager, ***, came out and - between the two of us - we made a satisfactory arrangement.
My room exceeded expectations. Clean with comfortable beds. Large screen TV with lots of channels. Great water pressure. Very clean bathroom. Very quiet.
The well lit parking lot was a blessing for security but the downside was the bright lights flooded the room. Thank goodness for the blackout curtains!
Breakfast was better than I thought it might be. Something in the description made me think it would be minimal. But, it was standard cook-your-own-waffle fair. For the price, it was more than satisfactory.
But, back to the manager, Mr. ***. Definitely not a typical manager hiding in a back office. Mr. ***was every where all at once! He was at the front desk. He was directly supervising the housekeeping staff. He was attending to the laundry. He was even personally keeping the breakfast area tidy and we'll stocked.
Thanks to everyone at this Super 8. I'll be back!

Nothing special...but perfect if you are just looking for a place to crash. Close to freeway and seemed relatively quiet. Clean enough.
