    I almost didnt leave my bed for the 6 day stay. The facility is a bit dated and was late on the waffles one day. They still served up Folgers though, a good old treat from New Orleans, my city.

    I chose the Super 8 by Wyndham in Morris, IL because it had a good rate and was right off the highway. First impression was bad - back entrance was locked at 9pm but had a sign that said it would be unlocked until midnight, broken key card reader on the same back entrance, carpet all torn up on the stairs.... this place is due for a remodel, or at least some repairs. I was relieved, however, when I walked into my room, which was a perfect 70 degrees and clean. Better AC unit than I expected, nice TV, newer appliances and lights, comfortable bed with plenty of pillows, overall exceeded my expectations! Breakfast the next morning was disappointing. I was there about 8:30am and almost every food container was empty. All the bread, bagels, muffins, yogurt and such were already gone The only things left were some tangerines, 2 choices of cold cereal and a make-your-own waffle station (which is great) Recommended for a no-frills convenient budget option
