Very Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended
I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at Sunrise Resorts, Ravulapalem.
The staff behaviour was rude and unprofessional. Even when guests were facing difficulties, most of the staff did not respond properly. I spoke to the Front Desk Manager, Mr. Sridhar, about the problems faced by the guests, but I did not receive a proper or satisfactory response.
The swimming pool was not properly maintained and had insects in it, which was very unpleasant. The rooms also lacked basic facilities, and there was no proper restaurant facility available. Since the restaurant was closed, we faced a lot of difficulty arranging food.
When we asked the food in-charge, Dr. Babu, about food arrangements, his response was, “Order from Zomato or go 10 km and get it yourself.” This is certainly not the kind of response a guest expects after paying to stay at a resort.
Another major concern was guest privacy. The pool and garden areas were being given to outside events and photoshoots for separate charges. Because of this, guests who had actually booked rooms at the resort did not have proper privacy or a peaceful environment. It felt like the staff were giving more attention to event and photoshoot bookings than to the resort’s staying guests.
The only staff member who responded positively and helped us was Manikanta from Room Service. I genuinely appreciate his helpful attitude.
Overall, the experience was far below expectations. Poor maintenance, lack of food facilities, rude staff behaviour and lack of privacy made our stay very uncomfortable.
I would not recommend Sunrise Resorts for a peaceful family stay unless the management seriously improves its guest service, cleanliness, facilities and privacy arrangements.
