I didn’t let previous reviews influence my decision on staying here. After all, all accommodations have negative reviews to some extent. This is what I thought! You have to park on one level of parking deck, hop on elevator to get to registration then hop another elevator to get to your floor. Same way leaving. First night I had a problem with the remote control operating the television. Would NOT work! It would cut on but that was it. I didn’t have office number handy so I just picked up phone on the night stand BUT no dial tone! Was plugged up, just not working. Glad it wasn’t an emergency! I used my cell phone to call number on website to contact front desk. They did send a nice gentleman to my room to fix the television. He arrived with 4 remotes in hand. He did get it where the television would work. Apparently the television cuts off periodically because when morning comes around and I turned it on it was back to where we started. I waited until afternoon before I notified the office again. As I went back to the room for food I asked them to send someone to fix the television. I didn’t want to wait all day for someone to arrive. I was sitting on the balcony waiting and my granddaughter knocked on the door to let me know someone was there. I came in and shut door to balcony and left a 2 inch crack in it. The MAN ( not a gentleman at all) came in and rudely asked what was wrong with the television. I explained the remote didn’t work for the television. That it was the 2nd time. He started saying how I was causing moisture inside the room with the “door open” and he should just kick us out! WTH? I didn’t engage with him and just asked if he would fix the issue with the television. My 7 year old granddaughter was in the same room as me. He fumbled around with the wires on the back of the television and it was fixed. Well, until that night and it happens again!!!!! After having no television that night I went back to the desk and spoke with a nice lady( to nice to be working there) I made her aware of the issues and she apologized and was going to send another young guy to help me.i went to the room and had to wait and wait. He was coming straight up to our room so I thought. After waiting an excessive amount of time, someone knocked on the door. It was the very rude guy that had came the day before. He started saying that I was doing something to the television for it to mess up and that he was tired of coming to our room. I did sharply tell him I absolutely did NOT do anything to it. He slammed down another remote on the table and left. That remote matched the television we had and it did work. Finally! I was not going to be quiet about the way we were treated. I went back to the desk and spoke with the nice lady, I thanked her for her help but the gentleman she sent didn’t show up and the events that occurred. She repeatedly apologized and I accepted her apology but did request that if I needed any further assistance “DO NOT SEND THAT MAN BACK TO MY ROOM “ The place is ran down, dirty, has roaches and just lacks common decency! I have Absolutely No Intention of ever going back! Was told tho that in September of this year they will be a Marriott! This place will never be able to fill those shoes!

Room was dirty, the hotel was dirty, pictures are very misleading when booking online. I tried to cancel prior to check in but they wouldn’t allow refund. Waiting an hour in line to check in and wait for elevators is long, pool is not what expected. Our family smelled marjuana the entire stay.
