Studio 6 Dallas, TX - Northwest

The motel has kitchenettes in the room. It isn’t really fancy but clean and affordable. They really worked with us as we were pretty late checking in. We were able to eat small meals and relax! Good for travelers that want a good clean place to overnight!

I was looking for a place to stay while I work and came across Studio 6. I heard mixed things but decided to try it. As a solo traveler with a dog this is the perfect place to stay. It’s clean, the staff are good, I wasn’t expecting my room to be cleaned as I was o Lu staying like two nights. They always kept my room clean and restocked each day. They also have weekly rates for people staying for longer periods of time. The location is also great! If you work in downtown you rarely get bad traffic.

Just after I had the best check in experience at one of these hotels, and the guy at the front desk was the nicest one (he was not your stereotypical employee of this chain), the next day as I’m walking my dogs, I get asked by “security” if I was staying there and which room number, mind you he wasn’t wearing anything that helped me identify him as the security guard other than a shirt that said (staff). So then I ask him if he works there, I guess he got offended after I asked him if at reception or maintenance, cause he seemed lissed when hemmmfg responded that he’s security. At the end of my stay, I made another reservation without realizing that the card that was selected by default needed to be updated on the website , longs story short, the receptionist ended up entering my room through the window while I was showering and, even though I’m explaining the situation to him and my intention was to stay there because I needed to and for the first time ever I actually wanted to stay, they end up calling the police on me, mind you, before the police arrived, both the receptionist (which was not the same one that checked me in btw) and the “security” kept trying to open my door and kept on asking me to get close to the door and to open and to come outside, while I’m repeatedly telling them that I’m naked and to let me get dressed. Even DPD officers were telling me to open the door and kept saying that they just wanted to make sure I was ok while I kept asking them to give me the privacy I deserve, I guess they finally saw that I was not a thread and left by the time I finished getting ready. Oh yeah, I’m sure they also left after hearing my friend who I FaceTimed while this whole incident was happening so I could have a witness in case something happened to me
