We loved our stay. Everything was fabulous from the room to the staff to the beautiful beach out front. It was lovely although a bit pricey.

Although my wife and I only stayed at Story for one night, whilst in transit back home, we found it to be nothing short of superb. Akthough it is a larger hotel it has heaps of space and is beautifully designed and furnished. The room was lovely and the bathroom was stunning. Would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I booked a room for a very impromptu trip and it worked out well. We accidentally booked an accessibility room (Agoda's list of amenities was misleading about the room though, so be careful about it. Like it said there would be a bathtub for the accessible room but there wasn't... for obvious reasons.) But the room wasn't bad. Their location is Divine and their tieups with car rentals is amazing. If you want to book services like spa, tete-a-tete, or snorkeling, book them way in advance though because they're almost always booked up and the staff was little to no help in this regard. Overall, I still highly recommend staying here. <3

By a mile the worst “high end” hotel ever. Here a list of selected issues, with many more neglected - booked room type not honored - assigned garden room indeed had a garden, which was used as drainage for rainwater from the roof/upper floors. Thus no beach chairs provided as in all other rooms of the type (they would be in the way of the rainwater) - there’s obviously no better time for cutting of grass then 7 am, is there? Or using using of loud machinery in the beach area in late morning - reservation in a hotel restaurant not honored. Approached by restaurant staff in a way “that’s life, bad things happen” - had to make a fuss the day after to get reservation in any restaurant on site - as the cherry on the cake, we’ll spend 14 hours return flight in soaking wet shoes as “operator” Linda lied to us twice about organizing a transfer from the gym we used to shower to reception and after 30 minutes we had to run to the reception in a heavy downpour not to miss the flight. She was also visibly annoyed and brush when we called to check on the progress - indeed subjective, but apart for handful of employees, namely the staff in Traders Vic’s and the staff monitoring the beach, others don’t seem to put much effort in their jobs, let alone try to make guests feel welcomed. Especially the reception desk (and Linda!!!!)
