    ⭐ Extremely disappointing stay at Sterling Amar Garh, Jodhpur – Room 212 I had a terrible experience staying at Sterling Amar Garh, Jodhpur. I had previously stayed at Sterling Udaipur and had a good experience, so I assumed the Jodhpur property would maintain similar standards. Unfortunately, I was completely wrong. The condition and cleanliness of Room 212 were extremely disappointing. The bedsheets and blankets appeared to have not been changed before our arrival. There was an unpleasant, old and musty smell, and the linen did not feel clean at all. I called the staff and requested that the bedsheets and blankets be changed. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the night-shift laundry staff actually argued with me, and it took considerable time before the linen was finally changed. Even after the change, the replacement bedsheet and blanket still had a strong old/stale smell. The condition was so bad that my wife developed a severe allergic reaction to the smell and had difficulty breathing and could not sleep properly throughout the night. What should have been a comfortable hotel stay turned into an extremely unpleasant and stressful night. Another major concern is the room photographs shown online. In my experience, the actual room was nowhere close to the images presented. The photographs appear heavily edited/AI-enhanced and do not give guests a realistic impression of the actual condition, cleanliness, or comfort of the room. Guests should be able to see genuine, unedited photographs before making a booking. I honestly did not expect this from Sterling, especially after having a good experience at Sterling Udaipur. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not stay at Sterling Amar Garh Jodhpur again and would not recommend it to others unless the property seriously improves its housekeeping, linen hygiene, staff response, and transparency regarding room photographs. Room: 212 Overall experience: Extremely disappointing. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and investigates what happened rather than treating it as just another review.
