    Back in the days of the well to do travelling by train it was magnificent. There was a train stop right in front. Somehow they have managed to maintain it very well. Lots of old artifacts decorate the lobby. Luckily, I was on the first floor because the elevator was OOO. The lobby had very high ceilings so it was a 32 step climb to the 1st floor. Restaurant was no longer operating either. Too bad. Very little night life and closer places to stay if you are interested in the border market. Not much reason to stop in this town. Too bad. I can imagine this place was magnificent in days gone by. Bed, AC and shower all very good.

    Unusual Hotel GPS took us into back of building could not find any excess and some windows were missing from bottom end of building not sure if they were part of hotel. eventually found entrance and lobby was great lots of old drinks machines and clocks loved it looks fantastic from front . bedrooms were good the only problem I could see was none of the lifts worked are 2 rooms were on second floor so was no problem just wondered how many floors and if other people had problems overall it was a good stay and hopefully the next time I come back the lifts will be fine.
