Be aware that the name of this hotel is now Clarion, NOT Starkville Inn & Suites. BUT ~ even typing that into google maps won't get you to the right place! You must type Microtel Inn into google maps to get you to the right location! Google maps took me 17 miles outside of Starkville!

Staff was so friendly a location to the campus was perfect! Rooms are so basic and needs TLC, maybe some paint and updates.

We had to buy cleaning supplies & request clean sheets for beds. Sheets on beds had hairs & who knows what in them. Trash on top of AC unit. Horrible! Breakfast attendant complained to me about her job the whole time I was trying to get coffee. Shower curtain torn to shreds. This place should be shut down. Can definitely tell the Health Department skipped here!! Zero stars
