    This is a very simple review : it’s the best hotel we’ve ever been to in our 2 years of continuous traveling! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, the location is PERFECT to explore central Taichung with plenty of markets, shops, cafés & restaurants around. The building and architecture in itself is simply magnificent, the inner garden at Level1 is so beautiful to look at from any floor, it’s the piece de résistance of the hotel. We were really lucky to be upgraded for free (we think? We’re not sure?) and get the biggest room on our floor. The vibe and the mood in the rooms is unmatched and it feels like you’re experiencing a luxury hotel at a very reasonable and affordable price, and without the luxurious tacky vibe. Everything is clean, it smells nice and you feel like everything was thoughtfully and tastefully made to be a pleasant stay. The free beverages, the water dispenser and the umbrellas are a really nice touch as well.
