Very close to rakoczi ter metro station which is only 2 mins walking. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is big and clean. Everything is perfect. Will come back again soon.

I got 3 different messages sent from the company of this "hotel" requesting me to upload my ID to an app which sounded like a scam. However, the app link cannot be shown via Agoda. I called the "hotel" phone number to verify, and asked them to tell me or send me the full app website link. The operator could not help me as she did not know. I explained the issue to the host via Agoda's chat function, and then they asked me to email the ID to the host company's email. I emailed and it's confirmed by one of the operators of this host company. Then, I was shocked, 2 days before my arrival day, another staff of this host company sent me a message requesting me to upload my ID to their app and almost threaten me that the check in cannot be completed without uploading the scan of ID in which I already told them twice that the app link address cannot be displayed via Agoda's system! I emailed the host company and explained and REATTACH the scan of my ID. I got no reply, and that was one day prior to my arrival. I was very worried. They did finally sent me the check in instructions so I got to stay here. During the middle of my stay, a lady knocked my door and asked me to provide my ID as they lost all of the TWO emails I sent to the host main email address. She politely apologized for the inconvenience and had to manually scan my ID. This was my first time in Budapest and the check in experience horrified me - and mainly b/c the host company does not know how to handle Agoda's external link masking function. Also, there's no 24 hour front desk. They provided a 24-hour phone number, but not all of the staff understands English well. Other than the horrible check in system, everything else was very good for what I paid for. The place was very clean, location was great, and the AC/heating was great. Wifi is very stable as well. I will stay here again b/c of the safety, value and location once I know how to overcome the fear of this worrisome check-in process.
