This hotel is a convenient stop if you’re driving long distances on your way to Yosemite National Park. Its location makes it a good place to rest before continuing your trip.
The hotel has a warm, woodsy atmosphere that gives you a nice “welcome to the forest” feeling, fitting for a visit to the national park.
The breakfast was basic but adequate, and the rustic dining room added to the cozy experience.
There isn’t much to do in the area at night, but the hotel provides a fire pit where guests can relax in the evening. You can purchase a s’mores kit from the front desk for about $8, which includes marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers.
Another nice feature is the comfortable guest lounge and library area, which is a pleasant place to sit and unwind. Complimentary coffee, tea, and water are available 24 hours a day. The hotel also provides a microwave in the lobby, making it convenient to warm up your own food if needed.
Overall, it’s a comfortable overnight stop with a cozy mountain-lodge atmosphere before heading into Yosemite National Park.

We came as a surprise to celebrate a friend's birthday.
The friendly staff checked us in very quickly, and also offered to sit wherever we wanted, by the fireplace or in the library. We chose a cozy library and had a wonderful evening.
After that, we went to sleep in very warm rooms. Access to the terrace deserves a separate 5*. We will definitely come back here in the future.
