SIA Resort and SPA

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly, and I truly appreciated their kindness. Unfortunately, my experience with the housekeeping staff was quite different. They often looked at me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable, and they would speak to each other in their own language while looking at me. As a Muslim woman wearing a hijab and traveling alone, this made me feel unwelcome. I cannot know what they were saying, but their behavior and expressions gave me an unpleasant feeling. The room cleanliness was also disappointing. The first night was acceptable, but on the second night, it seemed that the duvet had not been properly checked or cleaned before my arrival. The check-out process was the most frustrating part of my stay. I had already paid my hotel bill in advance. Before leaving, I informed the receptionist that I still needed to pay for the dinner I had the previous evening. I then had to wait around 30 minutes while they searched for the restaurant bill. After that, they tried to charge me again for a massage that I had already paid for before the treatment. Thankfully, I had taken a photo of my payment receipt, so I was able to prove that I had already paid. Without that receipt, I might have been charged twice. Finally, the spa and massage area was not relaxing at all. It was located directly next to the swimming pool, with constant noise from children and other guests. It completely ruined what should have been a peaceful experience. Overall, the friendly reception staff were the highlight of my stay, but the housekeeping attitude, cleanliness issues, poor organization during check-out, and noisy spa significantly affected my overall experience.
