    I recently stayed at Hotel Agarwal Palace and overall had a very good experience. The hotel is quite new, which reflects well in the rooms and overall setup. One of its biggest advantages is the location — it’s hardly 100 meters from the railway station, yet not directly on the main road, making it quieter and more comfortable compared to other nearby options. The staff here truly stand out. They are very helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist, which creates a very warm and welcoming feel throughout the stay. Basic amenities like WiFi and TV were working properly, and hot water was available during the daytime without any issues. The presence of a lift is also a big plus for convenience. They also have arrangements for soft drinks and properly cooled water, which is quite convenient for guests, especially after travel. For the price I paid, the stay felt reasonable and worth it. Complimentary water bottles, towels, and toiletries were provided on request — if these are kept ready in the room before check-in, it would enhance the welcoming feel even more and give a slightly more premium experience. Overall, a great budget-friendly stay with an excellent location and very supportive staff. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ujjain!

    I had booked a 2 nights AC room for couple. For the first day, while check-in I was told that the Hotel doesn't know about any booking of mine. I showed them my Agoda booking ID and details but they said that they didn't received any booking from Agoda. Had to wait for 10 mins, and the Hotel Agrawal Palace made arrangement of a room for me in a nearby different Hotel for 1 day. It was not so good experience for me as I had to wait but I'm glad that I didn't had to pay anywhere any extra money for the room. On the next day I had to checkout form that different hotel and then check-in here in Hotel Agrawal. They had a decent size room, as the hotel is recently renovated the hotel was quite good from exterior. In terms of cleanliness I am quite disappointed and there were big cockroaches in bathroom and the room was little dusty. The cockroaches was a real turn-off for me. Plus point was the AC was working properly and there were hot water available. They need to improve a lot in those places and also provide the standard tea, coffee, milk power pouches with hot water kettle. A little pricey but decent.
