New Carrier bedroom aircons quietly purr. Yes! Elevator. Walk right and the beach is there. Owners are fair and responsive with any concerns. Delightful lobby bar and restaurant has really good aircon. San Miguel beer on tap. Cleaning every third day. My booking was pay at hotel, it’s cash only no credit card. Contrary to the posting that advertises 24 front desk reception. That’s false. You are on your own from midnight all the way until 10am. No staff overnight. The one time the family room on top turned into a full blown disco tech at 3:30am I’m glad my neighbor was the one to confront them. Lock yourself out? There’s no one at night to help you. Even an overnight guard would be welcome. My original reservation was not honored. Even though I previewed the property weeks in advance. Staff screenshotted my bookings. Said my deluxe seaview was on a high floor. She showed me lower floor room as example as the sea views were occupied. She said this is NOT the room but you can get an idea. Upon checkin I was given the only room left. The one she said wasn’t a seaview. Not impressed both Balcony and window locks broken. Locksmith dispatched and fixed. The owners made amends for the error. I greatly appreciated that. Speaks volumes to their great business character. Doms Pizza. King of Coffee restaurant. Rogues. Buckys burger. Lots of bars and restaurants. Lots of Lamborghinis Porsches BMWs. So a hint of a real upscale environment. Pillows are more like bolsters. Foot thick and HARD. Keep those but purchase real bedding pillows. This point is raised in many reviews. Hose the bathroom shower tiles and sink surround with bleach. Scrub. Repeat. It needs it. Bad. No mattress pad and only a bottom fitted sheet means it easily pops off the mattress. Soft top mattress was comfortable. Pratumnak 5 is an all night race circuit of full throttle super bikes. Noisy. Ceiling light above room entry door takes a half hour to turn off. Main ceiling light and two other ceiling lights burnt out. Highly recommend Sheba Guesthouse. High season pricing sends me elsewhere soon. But the value for what is there in comfort is surely there. The bar regulars are some really good folks. Associated Gooseberries 5 star restaurant nearby worth a look on social media for dinner specials. Beef cheeks! One night I returned to Sheba and it looked like an Indiana Jones movie set. Roast sheep head. Mountains of roast lamb. Can’t go wrong here. Just double check you have your room keys on you when going out a night. 555

Stayed here for the 4th time as it is convenient when doing immigration business, but still have not made an option on big, hard pillows after several suggestions or requests. May have to reassess.
