    I will be honest and detailed here. I don't usually put out reviews especially critical ones because I let it go, almost always. Not this one-sorry. I had an overnight bus from Bangkok and arrived early morning tired and requested early check-in and instead was suggested to go out and and come back at 2pm instead of waiting at common area. Awkward -a bit of empathy would have been nice and welcomed. I hope that was the case of lost in translation so just ignored. Anyways,half asleep went out and came back at 2pm to find out that I have been given the worst possible bunk bed in the whole hostel. The bed locker was broken,the reading light was inaccessible from the bed as does the sockets. They were literally outside the bed area. I mean, I had to put on my mobile flashlights every night for any reading. The other beds had no such issue. I politely requested change in bed quite a few times-first on the first day and then the second day couple of times and in the end I was told that no other bed is available for next 5 nights (I had booked for 5 nights) as all the other are long term stays. But to my shock and dismay- I watched every day people checking out and checking in-Long stays ha! Very very bad. They instead gave me a small table lamp for night reading and would you believe it, it's wire wasn't even enough to reach sockets. Why do they even take booking,if they make us go though this. I hate to create a fuss because I am not that kind of traveller so I just put up but watching others check in and check out others during the 5 nights stay was hard to take. At least have the courtesy to check on someone to whom you have given the worst stay. Please don't take bookings for beds like this. Also the quilt was dirty and had yellow stains. Positives too because otherwise it would be unfair - Polite staff,peaceful,outside area,good breakfast.

    Have a good shared area, the floor is of wood so make noise when someone is walking, is near to the many places.. Breakfast is not a buffet but very good for the value, my experience was not very good because the people who shared a room with me did not have much common sense.. They turned on lights after 11pm, made noises opening suitcases, something like that.. But it's younger people, those who don't have a problem with that will like it
