The photos of the hotel are beautiful and enticing. In reality the rooms feel cold and need more furniture (Bridge Loft Suite). Loved the deep soak bathtub but it could've been made better with bath accessories like salts and a loofah. It's missing little touches. The biggest negative for me was the noise. The area creates a vortex between the highway and another busy road. It sounds like a motor lodge on 95. Even people talking on the street sound like they are in the hallway. The sheets were a bit rough. Maybe in a couple of years when the area becomes more developed, but right now it's not close to much and there is no subway stop closeby. Lovely staff and a beautiful lobby.

Staying at a new hotel that is within walking distance to everywhere I need to be in Brooklyn? Yes, please. Showing up after a red eye from the West Coast and having them say I could check in early? Yes!! Sela V's magic word seemed to be Yes around every art-laden turn! It's no easy task to create a Vibe, but that's exactly what this place IS! It is a Vibe. And there was a massive grand opening party the weekend I stayed here, which, had I not known in advance and been invited too would have been really annoying for someone expecting a quiet stay. Which brings me to another point--Sela V was in communication with me each day of my stay. I felt welcome. And I felt so at home that when it came time to check out, I extended it by three hours (for a fee) but really didn't want to leave. I've already texted photos of the gorgeous lobby to my besties, telling them that this is the place they should stay when in Brooklyn. I haven't even gotten to telling you about the room yet! It was SO clean. The AC was wonderful and SO quiet. Very modern. My entire floor just outside the elevator had red-painted walls and so much artwork in between each room. I just can't say enough. The staff were friendly and sweet. There are chandeliers and beautiful plants welcoming you from the street. A wall of guitars. A baby grand. Velvet curtains. A vibe. Stay here. It's worth it.
