It was a lovely evening and day i appreciate the room i stayed in and service

Me and my friend was visiting Zanzibar for the first time and they made our trip unforgettable from the first day we entered they give us a welcome drink and also they upgraded our room we arrived in the morning and they allowed us to check in the room was big and cozy fan was there AC also showr was outside was amazing experience u can find some lizard and bugs but u can tell them and they take care of it love the decoration the restaurant was nice u can tell them what u need and the chief will help u they have also a tour guide if u want to sign up with them. We stayed for 5nights and all the time we feel safe cuz the security is there 24/7 and there is electric fence al around the hotel the staff there friendly they have little shop in the front so the security came with us all the way to make us feel safe. Thank you to Kathi she helps us with everything in the hotel anything we need she arranged for us like the breakfast or some places to go or even calling the toktok for us. Kathi was there 24/7 for us she was super-friendly . The swimming pool was nice also and we had fun.

My experience was beyond disappointing,it was an absolute nightmare.Am assuming they did that because I was traveling alone. I arrived early 10am fully prepared to wait for check-in, but what followed was a frustrating display of dishonesty and incompetence. The staff assured me that my room was being prepared from 10 AM, yet other customers were occupying the room and had not checked out yet.After waiting for hours, I was finally given my room at 3:35 PM far beyond a reasonable check-in time.They had offered me another room to change and take a shower which was okay but I needed my original room so that I can settle down and feel at home. To add to the frustration, I had specifically requested a birthday decoration in advance, expecting to walk into a beautifully set-up room. Instead, they only started decorating while I was sitting there, watching them scramble to do something that should have been done long before my arrival. At that point, the effort felt completely meaningless, and I told them not to bother as my mood was down already. But the worst part is I had deliberately booked a Deluxe room with both a shower and a bathtub something I had personally confirmed with them beforehand. Yet, when I finally got my room, it only had a shower. This was a deal-breaker for me, and when I brought it to their attention, they did absolutely nothing to correct their mistake. On top of that, the lavatory seat was broken and despite raising my concerns, no one cared enough to acknowledge or fix the issue till the 2nd day. I requested the keys to close the outdoor shower because I felt unsafe. However, they informed me that there are no keys for that door. I just wanted to leave that place ASAP as I felt unwelcomed. They completely ruined my vacation and my birthday. The customer service was nonexistent.
