    The apartment had a stunning sea view and the calming sound of waves — one of many reasons to come in the off-season. It’s not ultra-modern, but had everything we needed: super comfy bed, hot water (which you weirdly can’t always count on in newer places), and it was kept really clean. The owner was super friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home. If you're after a polished resort vibe, this might not be your thing. But if you’re into a more authentic island experience — I’d definitely recommend Seafront Apartments. Some say only the north of Corfu is worth seeing, but I couldn’t disagree more. The Bouris Hill to Kanoula Beach trail was one of our favorite hikes — and we did quite a few! The southern part of the island in early April has this quiet magic to it — we didn’t expect to love it so much, but we did.
