My son and I absolutely loved staying in the Schloss. Our room was beautiful, huge, clean, and well appointed, but I forgot to take a photo of it because the scenery there steals the show. It is one of the most beautiful locations you will ever see. Breakfast is good. We did have dinner there; it was good but I think the value is in the setting. If you meander through the halls you can easily imagine yourself in an earlier time period. The only downside, and it wasn't bad, was that we were there during a massive heatwave and there was no AC, and we did not have a lakeside room. I imagine the lakeside rooms would cool down to chilly at night, even on the hottest days. Ours cooled down enough and we were provided with a top notch fan, which helped. Still, we slept great on the comfortable bed. Staff was always friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
