    Short getaway from KL. Good hotel!

    I arrived at the hotel at approximately 8:00 PM on a Saturday evening and discovered that I had accidentally booked the wrong check-in date. While I fully acknowledge that the booking error was my mistake, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of empathy and assistance provided by the front desk staff. Instead of attempting to help or guide me, I was simply told to deal with Agoda. The staff showed very little concern for my situation despite the fact that I was travelling with my family and seeking assistance late in the evening. To make matters worse, the Agoda contact number provided to me was incorrect. I later found myself struggling to obtain assistance while standing at the counter. It was frustrating that the hotel staff appeared unfamiliar with the correct Agoda contact details despite regularly dealing with Agoda bookings. I was not expecting the hotel to override its cancellation policy. However, I did expect professionalism, empathy, and a willingness to assist a guest facing a genuine mistake. Unfortunately, once the incorrect booking date was identified, I felt completely dismissed and left to handle the issue on my own. Customer service is not just about enforcing policies. It is about showing understanding, offering guidance, and treating guests with respect. Sadly, that was not my experience here. Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning and would not recommend this hotel to others.
