We had a good one night stay at Scandic Gävle Vast. Satisfied with overall cleanliness and services. Parking was spacious and covered parking was even great to keep cars cool during hot summer sunshine.
Below 2-3 points are where improvements can be made:
1. Breakfast time was till 9:30 but there were some fruit options already finished even at 8:50 and never refilled. I think all breakfast items must be available until the end-time
2. There were allergens mentioned but actual content was not clear, for example omelette looked like it had bacons included but wasn’t mentioned so not a good experience for vegetarians.
3. During summer, rooms get warm and humid and there was just a small table top fan but I think with this much cost, rooms should be centrally air-conditioned or have other better cooling options instead of guests keeping the windows open overnight and welcome mosquitoes/insects from forest in front.
